HOP LUC’S “STUDY MOTIVATION FOR CHILDREN” PROGRAM IN QUY CHAU, NGHE AN

On November 4, 2024, at Chau Nga Primary School, Quy Chau District, Nghe An Province, Hop Luc Construction Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with the Quỳ Châu District People’s Committee, successfully organized the “Study Motivation for Children” program to provide practical support for schools facing difficulties in the district.

Quy Chau is one of the four poor districts of Nghe An Province, with a population of nearly 63,000, 80% of whom are from ethnic minorities. With a high poverty rate, the district’s economy is considered underdeveloped, and people’s living conditions face many challenges. As a result, school facilities are lacking, significantly impacting the students’ educational journey.

Understanding the students’ difficulties, Hop Luc representatives visited schools to assess and listen to the challenges related to school facilities and learning environments. Based on their findings, Hợp Lực decided to donate 300 million VND to support three primary schools: Chau Nga, Chau Hoan, and Dien Lam. The donation was used to improve learning equipment such as computers for computer labs, interactive smart boards for English classrooms, and upgrading old desks and chairs. In addition, warm coats were provided to help the students stay warm during the upcoming winter months.

Mr. Le Anh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hợp Lực Construction Joint Stock Company, shared: “Alongside economic development, Hợp Lực always prioritizes education and the nurturing of talents for our country. Through this small gift, we hope to improve the learning environment, helping future generations of students have more opportunities to access knowledge and technology, thus building a solid foundation for them to move forward confidently into the future.”

As a token of thanks for the support from Hop Luc, the students at Chau Nga Primary School and their teachers performed a series of exciting and meaningful performances that created a lively and memorable atmosphere for the event.

The program was honored to welcome representatives from the Quỳ Châu District leadership, Hợp Lực’s sponsor representatives, and the school’s administration. The event also saw the presence of Lê Hải Anh, a 12th-grade student and outstanding volunteer who has always actively participated in community activities. She was also a bridge between the sponsor and the 193 students attending the “Study Motivation to School” program

In the future, Hop Luc will focus on education as a critical part of its mission in the community. We aim to build a strong knowledge foundation for young people and create more opportunities for students to achieve a brighter future.
